Our history
Town + Country Resources was originally founded in 1982 as two separate companies: Town + Country Nannies and San Francisco Mothers in Deed in Palo Alto. In 1997, we united with the vision of providing more comprehensive household staffing solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of families and individuals.
Over the past 40+ years, Town + Country Resources has proudly grown into a full-service domestic staffing and household referral agency, placing professionals in estate staffing, childcare, housekeeping, and temporary services. Our focus on quality, reliability, and safety has made us a trusted partner for families and domestic professionals alike.

Originally from Los Angeles, Lindsey has called the Bay Area her home since 2008. She brings a wealth of experience to Town + Country Resources with her strong background in home health and degrees in Human Development and Human Resources.
Lindsey has a deep commitment to supporting her local community by ensuring families receive excellent care for their loved ones along with outstanding customer service. Her extensive experience in the field, combined with her educational background, has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to effectively support the Town + Country Resources team and the families they serve.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys practicing yoga at her local studio, hiking with her pup, or planning her next travel adventure.

Raised in Cupertino and an alumnus of San Jose State University, she has honed her expertise in managing the nanny team with precision and care.
Jennifer is committed to excellence and strives to match families with the most ideal nannies, ensuring successful placements through a meticulous selection of quality candidates, fostering long-term relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. Her leadership is characterized by the same commitment and dedication she instills in her team.
Residing in the South Bay with her two daughters, Jennifer enjoys exploring new culinary experiences, hiking with her dog, and traveling.

Avienne originally joined Town + Country Resources in 2020, where she was focused on connecting nannies with their next great opportunity. After a short hiatus, she rejoined us to continue supporting our candidates in finding their next placement. Avienne’s return is a testament to her commitment to excellence and her passion for helping others.
A Bay Area native, Avienne graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where she studied Entrepreneurship and Business Management. Throughout her career, she gained a spectrum of experiences ranging from working with children and youth to retail management, and in recent years, recruiting. She finds the most joy in roles where she gets to support others in a meaningful way.
When she’s not hard at work, Avienne loves exploring all the local gems the Bay Area has to offer, be it beautiful hikes, live music, coffee, and amazing food.

Britney has a background in Communication Sciences and Disorders and joined Town + Country Resources after years of working as a nanny and a speech pathology assistant. As an invaluable member of the team, Britney is hyperfocused on recruiting and vetting the best candidates for our clients.
On a personal level, while Britney grew up on the sunny shores of Central Florida, she moved to vibrant Denver, Colorado, where she currently resides with her husband and their lovable yellow lab, Waffle. In her free time, Britney enjoys immersing herself in a good book, exploring the great outdoors, and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Her love for life and her dedication to making a difference are evident in everything she does.

Hannah was born and raised in the Bay Area. After graduating from California Baptist University with a degree in Psychology, she found her first professional job as a nanny! She worked for several wonderful Bay Area families for a few years before accepting a position at Town + Country Resources in 2016. She has helped hundreds of nannies and families find “the one” and finds it very fulfilling to understand a family’s needs and help them find the right person to care for the most precious people in their lives. Hearing from nannies that they have found their dream job and from families that their nanny is the perfect fit is what motivates Hannah to continue!
Hannah lives in San Jose with her husband and far too many houseplants. In her free time you can find her trying a new fried chicken or Vietnamese coffee spot, attending a live theater performance, going to the beach, or spending time playing games with friends and family.

Jessica was born and raised in the Bay Area. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She worked as a nanny throughout college and as a preschool teacher after graduating. Jessica has been part of Town + Country Resources for over six years and truly enjoys helping nannies find their perfect job.
Jessica lives on the Peninsula and loves attending local sporting events, spending time outside, traveling, and bonding with her family.

Sarndra, who grew up on a dairy farm in New Zealand, has called San Francisco home since 1997. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a National Nursery Examination Board Certificate, and a Certificate in Special Needs Education, and has worked at Town + Country for over 16 years.
Sarndra has extensive experience as a nanny, a family assistant, and a newborn care specialist, and as a mother, she understands the complexities of the childcare provider-family relationship. She provides exceptional support and guidance throughout the hiring process and beyond.
In her free time, Sarndra enjoys kayaking on the bay, volunteering at her church, and spending time with her husband, son, friends, and her Chiweenie dog, May.

Katy was born and raised in Maui, where she grew up surfing and dancing both hula and contemporary. She attended the University of San Francisco, studying European History and Psychology. During her tenure with two international law firms, she gained experience in all facets of human resources, including recruiting, employment law, and employee relations. Katy returned to the domestic staffing industry because she truly enjoys helping candidates and families find the perfect match.
She lives in the East Bay with her husband and their two young children.

Annika grew up in the mountains of Northern California and earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Davis. She worked as a nanny during college and spent a year in Rome as an au pair. Upon returning to the United States, Annika worked in the au pair industry for four years before joining Town + Country Resources. She finds great satisfaction in helping families find the right support to enhance their home lives.
Outside of work, Annika loves to travel, write, practice her Italian, and spend time with her husband and two daughters.

Siria, a Los Angeles native, graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, focusing on Public Policy and Public Management. During and after her college years, she devoted her time to working as a teacher’s aide, an after-school instructor, and a mentor for various nonprofit organizations that support education in low-income communities.
In 2021, Siria joined Town + Country as a recruiting counselor, assisting busy families with their search for household professionals.
She continues to reside in Los Angeles, where she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Kate was born and raised in Palo Alto as the youngest of three daughters. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University and her master’s degree in Public Administration from DePaul University in Chicago. During her studies, Kate spent one semester in Florence, Italy, where she became a pasta and pizza aficionado. She began babysitting in middle school and served as a nanny to many wonderful families for almost 10 years.
In her free time, Kate enjoys camping, kayaking, and running the Stanford Dish with her husband.

Having worked as a nanny for many years, Cali understands the pivotal role childcare workers play within a home, and this is what convinced her to join us as our dedicated temporary services placement counselor.
In her free time, she loves to practice yoga, spend time with family and friends, and watch live music. Cali is also a huge foodie and always appreciates new restaurant recommendations.
